Acerca de 2048
2048 is the sliding-number puzzle that took over the world in 2014. It was created by Gabriele Cirulli and released as open source under the MIT license, which is how it comes to be on Vozu. We host it almost untouched because it is simply one of the best puzzle designs ever made.
You play on a 4-by-4 grid of numbered tiles. Every move slides all the tiles in one direction, and two tiles with the same number that bump into each other merge into one tile worth their sum: 2 and 2 make 4, 4 and 4 make 8, and so on up to the 2048 tile.
Cómo jugar
- Slide the whole grid up, down, left or right. Every tile travels as far as it can.
- Two equal tiles that collide merge into one. Each merge adds the new tile's value to your score.
- After every move a new tile appears in an empty spot. It is usually a 2 and sometimes a 4.
- Make a 2048 tile to win. You can then choose Keep going and chase an even bigger tile.
- The game ends when the grid is full and no move can merge anything.
Controles
- Teclado
- Arrow keys or W A S D to slide the tiles. R restarts the game.
- Táctil
- Swipe up, down, left or right anywhere on the grid.
Consejos
- Pick a corner for your biggest tile and keep it there for the whole game.
- Use mostly two directions, for example down and left, and a third only when you must. Avoid the fourth.
- Keep the row next to your corner filled so that the big tile never gets pushed out of place.
- Build a chain of tiles in descending order along one edge so that merges cascade into the corner.
- Do not chase small merges in the middle of the board. Keeping big tiles together matters more than a few quick points.
