À propos de Mots Mêlés du Saule
Willow Word Search is a classic word search puzzle. Quill the robin hides words in a square of letters under the old willow. Every puzzle has one of 22 themes, such as Garden, Ocean, Bakery, Space or Wild Animals, and a list of words to find.
The first puzzle is a 6×6 square with four words that run across or down. The squares grow up to 11×11 with twelve words. Diagonal words arrive at level 3 and backwards words at level 5. Every listed word can be read in exactly one place, so there is never a second copy to confuse you.
Comment jouer
- Find every word on the list in the letters. Drag from the first letter of a word to its last and let go: the word is circled in colour and crossed off the list. Circling it from last letter to first works too.
- Clear the list before the clock runs out. You get 30 seconds plus 22 seconds for each word. When the time is up you lose one of three hearts and get 60 seconds more. The game ends when the last heart is gone; a heart comes back at levels 6, 11, 16 and so on.
- A word scores 10 points for each letter. Find the next word within eight seconds and a streak multiplies it, up to five times. From level 2 one word on the list is golden and scores three times as much.
- From level 3 a secret word of the same theme is hidden too. It is not on the list, only its number of letters is shown, and it is worth 100 points. You do not need it to finish the level.
- Every second left on the clock is worth 3 points, and a level finished without a hint and without losing a heart earns a Perfect bonus of 150.
Commandes
- Clavier
- Drag with the mouse from the first letter to the last, or click the first letter and then the last. On a keyboard, move with the arrow keys, press Space or Enter on the first letter and again on the last, and H for a hint.
- Tactile
- Slide a finger from the first letter of a word to its last, or tap the first letter and then the last. The Hint button sits under the word list.
Astuces
- Hunt rare letters first: a Z, Q, K, W or a double letter is much easier to spot than an E or an A.
- Hints are scarce: three to start and one more at levels 3, 5, 7 and so on. A hint rings the first letter of a hidden word and costs the Perfect bonus.
- Spot your next word before you circle the current one to keep the streak alive. A golden six-letter word on a streak of five is worth 900 points.
