Teeter hakkında
Teeter is a game about a toy car and the edge of a table. Pull the little pull-back car backwards to wind its spring, let go, and watch it roll. The aim is to stop as close to the far edge as you dare, and the very best result of all is a car left hanging over the drop, rocking on its belly.
It began as a game a dad played with his kid on the kitchen table, and it keeps that feeling. There is one input, how far you wind, and everything else is real physics rendered in 3D: weight, friction and the wobble of a car that has gone a few millimeters too far. A run is an endless series of tables, and after each one you choose whether to bank your score or risk it all on the next.
Nasıl oynanır
- Drag backwards to wind the car up. The further you pull, the more power it has.
- Release and the car drives itself across the table. You cannot steer, so the wind-up is everything.
- Your score depends on the gap between the car and the edge when it stops. Far from the edge scores nothing, a few millimeters scores almost the maximum, and a car that ends up teetering over the edge scores best of all.
- Score on a table to clear it. Then choose PUSH ON for a bigger multiplier on the next table, or CASH OUT to bank what you have.
- The multiplier climbs from x1 to x3 as your streak grows.
- If the car falls off the table, the run is over and everything you had not banked is lost.
Kontroller
- Klavye
- Hold Space to wind and release to go. Hold Shift as well to wind at half speed, or use the mouse wheel to fine-tune. Keys 1 to 6 change car and R resets. With a mouse, drag back and release.
- Dokunmatik
- Drag back anywhere on the lower part of the screen and let go.
İpuçları
- Take a gentle first shot on every new table. It shows you how fast the surface is and costs you nothing.
- Small changes in the wind-up matter most near full power. Use the half-speed wind for the last few millimeters.
- Each of the six cars rolls differently. Stay with one until you know exactly how far it travels.
- Cash out after a great table if the next one looks awkward. Greed ends more runs than bad aim.
- A car that is rocking on the edge may still settle. Do not give up on it until it has stopped moving.
